TASTING

A fragrance that meets you first; an elegant bean note.

Clean-Fragrant, Emerald Longjing (75g Single Tin)

Fresh and clean, quick to return its sweetness, light as a spring breeze on the face.

The earliest-picked pre-Qingming buds, plucked and spread at low temperature throughout, keeping as much of the tender green as possible. A fresh, clean fragrance on entry, an elegant bean note, quick returning sweetness — the most striking colour in the Longjing range.

AROMAAroma

A fragrance that meets you first, an elegant bean note; within the low-temperature-kept tender green, a wisp of orchid; a clear sweetness at the cup's base, the aroma never overstating itself.

TASTETaste

Fresh and clean on entry, light as a spring breeze on the face; returning sweetness comes quickly, the cheeks water; the liquor emerald-bright — the most striking colour in the Longjing range.

Brewing
Glass or white porcelain gaiwan, 3g of tea. Water at 85–90°C (boiling water left to cool, lid off, for about a minute); pour the water first, then the tea. Wait for the buds to unfurl, one to two minutes, and drink; refill when one third remains — fresh and brisk, without bitterness.
