TASTING

A natural clean fragrance; a liquor emerald and translucent.

Emerald, Crisp Longjing (75g Single Tin)

Crisp and lively on entry, a light chestnut note through the middle, a crisp returning sweetness at the finish.

The steadiest grade of the main pre-Qingming picking window, pan-fired to a standard process, combining emerald colour, clean taste and crisp texture. Crisp and lively on entry, a light chestnut note through the middle — an all-rounder for first cups and seasoned palates alike.

AROMAAroma

A natural clean fragrance, a light chestnut note surfacing through the middle; the aroma never showy — clean and steady is its strength; a crisp fragrance stays at the cup's base.

TASTETaste

Crisp and lively on entry, with no heaviness; the liquor emerald and translucent, bitterness very low; a crisp returning sweetness at the finish — a tea both newcomers and seasoned drinkers can hold.

Glass or white porcelain gaiwan, 3g of tea. Water at 85–90°C (boiling water left to cool, lid off, for about a minute); pour the water first, then the tea. Wait for the buds to unfurl, one to two minutes, and drink; refill when one third remains — fresh and brisk, without bitterness.
