TASTING
Honey and floral notes interwoven, dissolved in the liquor — with the breath of an old forest.

Sweet, soft and fine; a strong, contained energy and a cool throat.
Trees of about 90 years at an average elevation of approx. 1,200 m; April 2026 batch. Guafengzhai at its core is yielding, restrained, strong in energy, rich in mountain-wild character: honey and floral notes woven together, the aroma lifted yet dissolved into the liquor, the empty cup keeping its scent — most captivating of all is the breath of an old forest. On entry it is sweet, mellow, soft and fine, with hardly any noticeable bitterness — and behind the softness hides a strong, contained energy; a few cups in, the body warms gently, the sensation unmistakable. The liquor is golden and bright, full and weighty, its texture fine and silk-smooth; returning sweetness comes fast and stays, salivation flows without end, the throat note deep and cool, the sweetness lingering long.
Honey and floral notes woven together, lifted yet dissolved into the liquor; a closer smell finds the clean air of an old forest; the empty cup keeps its scent long, still clear when cold.
Sweet, mellow, soft and fine on entry, with hardly any noticeable bitterness; behind the softness a strong, contained energy builds; the soup is full and silk-smooth, the throat note deep and cool, the sweetness lingering long.
