TASTING
Orchid and honey notes, pure and lifted, over a strong mountain-wild energy.

Moist and sweet, silky; a light bitterness that dissolves at once into strong, lasting sweetness.
Trees of about 200 years at an average elevation of approx. 1,600 m; April 2026 batch. The core style of Naka ancient tree is high aroma, fine water, ample sweetness, evident energy: a fairly strong mountain-wild character, an elegant and lasting orchid or honey note on the empty cup, the aroma pure and lifted. On entry it is moist and sweet, sweetness carried in the soup, the texture smooth and full; a light bitterness — more bitter than astringent — dissolves remarkably fast and turns at once into a strong, lasting returning sweetness. The liquor is golden and bright, the soup mellow and full — the generous energy of Banzhang with a singular elegance of its own. Salivation comes quickly, the mouth feels cool, the throat refreshed, the finish endless.
A pure, lifted orchid note on the empty cup, honey scent underneath for support; the mountain-wild energy holds the stage after the elegance fades; the scent stays long and graceful.
Moist and sweet on entry, sweetness in the soup, the texture smooth and full; a light bitterness over astringency that dissolves fast, turning at once into strong, lasting returning sweetness; salivation quick, the mouth cool, the throat refreshed.
