TASTING

Wild-mountain florals and rich nectar, high yet quiet — a lasting mark on the empty cup.

Laobangyue Single Tree

Pure high sweetness with no bitterness, a spring beneath the tongue — warm energy with real inner strength.

Trees of about 500 years at an average elevation of approx. 1,600 m; April 2026 batch — the closing chapter of the entire series: a single ancient tree, picked and processed alone. The fragrance is high yet quiet — wild-mountain florals and rich nectar, dissolved in the liquor, with a lasting mark on the empty cup. On entry it is cleanly sweet, bitterness and astringency barely there — the impact is pure, high sweetness; the liquor silky and fine, full with real body. Most stunning of all is the returning sweetness — described as a spring beneath the tongue: salivation and returning sweetness surge on and on, the sweetness so high it is like a sugar placed under the tongue, welling sweet water without pause. Gentle in appearance, full of inner strength: once swallowed, the energy releases slowly and powerfully, the body warms faintly, the throat note deep and long with a cool edge.

AROMAAroma

Wild-mountain florals and rich nectar, high and yet quiet, dissolved in the liquor; the empty cup holds its scent long, sweet fragrance still there once the cup cools.
