The key to Mellow Rougui is not the scent but the liquor: a steady roast, a dense, lingering body, the aroma melted into the tea — what you drink is "thickness" and "smoothness." For the drinker moving from fresh fragrance toward mellowness.
A steady roast note, the aroma showing no sharp edges; once brewed, the scent melts into the liquor, and the empty cup speaks more clearly than the lid.
