If a cup of tea can be the beginning of a brand,

then can a building

be the entrance to that world?

We wanted to try once.

And so there is MULAN MAISON · HANGZHOU.

We did not understand it as a larger tea shop.

A space that truly belongs to MULAN TEA STORY® should hold more than merchandise.

It should have tea.

Objects.

Art.

Culture.

The meeting of people.

And the technology and experience of today.

Tea needs a place where it is drunk with care.

Objects need a place to be seen and touched.

Art needs room.

The meeting of people needs time too.

So for a cup of tea, we built a Mulan Maison.

Glass forms the boundary between the building and the city.

By day, the city enters the glass.

By night, the building becomes a beam of light in the city.

The city outside, the East within.

To walk in here is not to leave the city.

It is, within the city, to enter another time.
