Masters Season
Each season brings one tea author, one master of the craft, or one name who speaks of tea brilliantly. The book opened, the tea steeped, the questions asked in person—signatures and photographs kept for those who were there.

Producers, tea houses and traders at one table: a lot's vintage, terroir and market, settled across a long table. What Mulan Maison offers is more than a venue—a tea table where business can sit down.

A contest stepped out of the Song books: the color of the liquor, the line of the foam, the fragrance against the taste. When it ends, the room does not empty—each steep's verdict and lesson, told to those still seated.

the study of tea itself.
Tea ceremony, flowers, tea duels, refreshments, firing clay… the classroom is at Mulan Maison, and also in the garden and beside the kiln. Eight subjects, taught in small classes — from the first lesson in tasting a tea, to firing a clay pot of your own.

All courses are taught in English and Chinese, with students from around the world. For international tea people we arrange deep garden itineraries and kiln residencies — from the core West Lake gardens to a clay pot fired by your own hands, the tea classroom of China, open to the world.
